iSecureFile provides browser-based security tools including file encryption, metadata removal, password generation, and related services. All processing occurs locally in your web browser - we do not upload, store, or process your files on our servers.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the Service only for lawful purposes
Not use the Service to encrypt or protect illegal content
Keep your encryption passwords secure and memorable
Understand that lost passwords cannot be recovered
Not attempt to circumvent security measures
Not use automated tools to access the Service in a disruptive manner

4. Password Recovery Disclaimer

Important Notice:

Due to our zero-knowledge architecture, we cannot recover lost passwords or encrypted files. When you encrypt a file with a password, only you have access to that password. If you lose it, the encrypted data cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by iSecureFile and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

6. User Content

Since your files are processed locally and never uploaded to our servers, you retain full ownership and control of your content. We make no claim to any files you process using our tools.

7. Free and Premium Services

We offer both free and premium tiers. Free services may have limitations on file size or features. Premium services require payment and are subject to additional terms provided at the time of purchase.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

The Service will meet your specific requirements
The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Any encryption is unbreakable (though we use industry-standard algorithms)
The Service will be compatible with all browsers or devices

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, iSecureFile SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, HOWEVER CAUSED.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iSecureFile and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Encrypt, hide, or protect illegal materials

Distribute malware or viruses
